Dr. Ortiz featured in Public Humanities Journal

This week, Professor Ricardo Ortiz, our beloved director of the Engaged & Public Humanities program, published in article in Public Humanities (Cambridge University Press) in a special issue he guest-edited on “The Public Humanities in Action.” The editorial, “How to Do Things with Public Humanities,” takes a bird’s-eye view of the issue as a whole and reflects on “the vitality of the humanities writ large,” addressing the challenges of this cultural moment while maintaining a hopeful outlook for the future of the field.
