Jeremy teaches Digital Public Humanities for the Engaged & Public Humanities program as Adjunct Professor.
He has been practicing digital humanities—as a designer, developer, researcher, and teacher—for over twenty years. Jeremy is also the Head of Research & Development for the Scholars' Lab at the University of Virginia Library. His current research includes feminist interface/information design for digital collections, home-brewed Dungeons and Dragons adaptations of fictional and historical materials, and connecting bibliographies to different types of card decks and games.
He has taught courses in American history, American studies, digital history, public history, and graphic/web design at George Mason University, American University, and the University of Virginia. Some projects Jeremy has helped develop include the Praxis Program , Speaking in Code , Neatline , Take Back the Archive , Accessible Futures, Omeka , Zotero , and THATCamp .
